Fire-rated Aluminium Storefront Vision Walls

Aluflam’s fixed storefront vision wall frames are constructed from thermally broken narrow aluminum extrusions filled with a proprietary fire blocking material. They are available in a 60 minute rating for interior and exterior installation. Vision wall products are fully tested and listed by Underwriters Laboratories to UL 263 and UBC 7-4 (1997) standards. All Aluflam fire-rated products are MEA approved for use in the City of New York.
Aluflam frames are factory finished and fabricated complete before delivery — reducing installation and glazing to a conventional task. The clear fire-rated glazing is manufactured by Vetrotech Saint Gobain. Glazing conforms to CPSC 16CFR1201 (CAT I & II) standards for impact while providing excellent clarity and sound reduction.

All Aluflam fire-rated products are MEA approved for use in the City of New York. A popular option for glazing Aluflam vision walls is the Contraflam Structure butt joined glazing, where multiple panels of fire-rated glass can be joined together by means of a unique fire-rated silicone joint. This mullion-less design is available for interior wall systems.
